DX7 in 25%Yak/Servos
I have a Great Planes 25% YAK 54 i'm starting to build. Plane has 81" wings , weighs around 14 Lbs. and will be gas. I'd like to try a DX7 but am having a problem selecting servos. The YAK instructions specify metal gears and 98 Oz for servos. The servos that come with the DX7, DS821's, are rated for 88 Oz.(6 Vt) and don't have metal gears. Will the AR7000 reciever work with Hitec HS625's?at 6 Volts?I like the features the DX7 offers and am willing to give it a try, but JR does not offer a servo matching HiTec's features/price that I am aware of. Thanks

To answer your question, yes the MG625's will work with the DX Radios. I have a DX-6 and am using them in one plane with no problems.
I have also had good luck with the Hitec 225MG servos. They are a bit lighter, but are almost as strong as the 625's in the applications where I've used them.
