Hi Everyone,

The maximum battery JR offers for the XP8103 is part number JRPB9081 which is only 800mA. (White connector on this radio)

I need a 1650 NiMh pack that will work in a brand new XP8103. Where can I get one and what part number do I order.(White Connector)

I don't mind soldering on the connector if necessary.

Along the same lines ... anyone knows where to get the replacement battery connector? I've tried a few, but they were a little too loose - would like something with a positive lock like the original.

I don't see where radicalrc.com offers a 1650NiMh with the newer style 8103 white connector. Did you have to solder yours ml?

I have a call into them to see.

You can get a battery pack from expert, part number EXRB350. It states that it is 1500, but I have removed the shrink wrap off of one in the past and it was labelled 1650 on the cells. Then you would need to get a connector to change it to the white type, the connector is part number JRR51082-A and is available through our service center by calling one of our techs at 877-504-0233.

Mine doesn't use the white plug. Good Luck.

I just got off the phone with Horizon Hobby.
Black battery connector with leads is JRR51082
Mating connector on TX is JRR51083. NOTICE the
suffix "-A" means white, san suffix is black.
I ordered some for myself, as the connector
is easy to break on the TX and I like to make my own battery packs. ;-)
