Default JR 783 backup battery issue

I have a JR XP 783, It keeps losing my programed model memory... I pulled the back cover and didn't see a back up battery to replace. Main battery is new. Is there something I can replace/fix or do I need to send it in for service. I've managed to misplace my manual. I've reprogramed and flew several weekends in a row, but it will lose memory in 2-3 weeks if I don't fly/charge. Thanks for any advice/help.

you should have a c2030 Li-io at the back.
as you have in your PC main Bios board - it is the same battery

ask mac-man - rcu user - he used to be a JR tech support at the UK

Used to be ? Eeeeeeeek !!

I'm still here !

Problem is that the US numbering gets confusing. If you have a front panel picture or an NET code, then I can advise. Is the 783 similar to the 347 / 388 ?

It sounds like the system will need to be sent in to have the lithium battery replaced.

All, Thanks for the inputs... looks like it's heading in for service.
