Futaba Switch / Battery and JR Receiver?
Hi!
After 26 years I have finally decided to switch to JR from Futaba...However I am gradually changing all my receivers to JR but i still want to use my futaba plugged switches and batterys.....is this OK?
PS: my receivers are 77 Synth and TX is a PCM 9X.
Regards

Yes, there shouldn't be any problems. Futaba connectors have to have the tab shaved off and the opposite side corners beveled of the plug to fit into a JR plug, but they should work fine.

What about the spectrum DX7...everything I have is Futaba. If I shave the tab which direction will the connector plug into the receiver. All I have right now while waiting for the DX7 to ship is the AR7000 receiver. Also what will I need to use my accu cycle elite to charge/cycle the transmitter as I understand the polarity is reversed? Thanks from a dummy.

Same info from my last post applies for Spektrum. The plugs will only go in one direction once you have beveled the corners of the plug as needed. For the TX charger, you must make sure the center pin of the plug is negative for JR and Spektrum systems. You will either need to manually change the polarity or locate an adapter.
