Default jr 6102

hey guys im looking to purchase a jr xp 6102 for my raptor 30 i found in my attic. i dont know how old it is but i would like to get it running again. on board are 5 servos and a hitec RCD 3600 72 mhz fm/hfd-08RD receiver. it has 8 ports, 7 with numers and one with letters. i have 2 questions 1) what do all those ports mean on the reciever, and 2) do i have to buy an new reciever to operate with the 6102 and if so which one is best to get? ($80-100)

The ports are the channels where the servos plug in. If the receiver is not made for JR (positive shift) you would need to purchase a JR receiver (or use the one that comes with the system assuming you are purchasing new).
