rx channel failure
i had a jr 226x recievers throttle channel to go dead in flight at 30 feet up in my heli, costed me $400 to fix the damage. just out of curiosity, what would make it do that?? it has me thinking of switching brands, i've never had any other brand do that.

Are you sure it wasn't a servo problem or connection issue? Without seeing the receiver I wouldn't be able to say what might have happened. I'd recommend sending it in for a check up. Sorry to hear of the problem.

Was it an electric ? Have had a few occasions over this side of the pond where the throttle channel had blown (various receivers) and they all had one thing in common... cheap ESC's throwing a voltage spike back to the receiver.

RE: rx channel failure
it was a nitro heli...... all servos worked on other channels but none of them would work on the throttle channel. that pretty much pinpoints the problem. i guess i will send it in for repair just to find out what caused it to fail. thanks guys.
