Hi, I just installed 4 new spectrum ds821's in an old beater after my Cap bit the dust. On range check, I can't get more than 10 feet before there is severe glitching. Replaced the old 4ch berg rx with a new 7ch berg rx (thinking it may have been damaged in the crash), same problem. Finally replaced the servos with some old JR st47's and put the 4ch rx back in. Problem solved. My radio is a JR sport sx600. Are the servo's and radio incompatible? If not, what could be the problem?

Perhaps the receiver is not compatible with digital servos, you might try a JR receiver (or a Spektrum system) and see if they work properly

According to the Castle Creation website and my LHS, everything should be compatible. I'll do some more swapping around and see what works. As you can probably tell, I'm new to this and still not up to speed on all the different technologies.
