XP642 Heli Radio
I'm training at a club that has a XP642 as their only JR buddy box. This radio was just donated last week, and there appears to be some mixing in the settings that make it impossible to use the system as a buddy box. You can get up elevator, but no down elevator, when you use the aelerons, you also get up elevator. What do we need to do to "reset" this system so it can be used as a buddy box?

What you need to do is reset the model memory.
If you want the manual, pm me with your email address and I will post it immediately.

The system will need to be programmed for the model as well, so you will need to set it up completely to fly the model. The only exception is if the master system that you are using has the pilot link function (10X air, 7202, 6102, DX7).

RE: XP642 Heli Radio
We will be using the XP642 with my JR Quattro as the master. The two radios will be linked with a buddy box cord. Will we still need to program the XP642 for my Alpha 40 in this configuration?

ah.... that could be because its from one of trade CD's. I was told to make them viewable but non-printable. I will copy the master source tomorrow and check that to make sure its a printable copy. I'll email it to you again.
