Default jr xp 8103 help

I was using a pinacle charger that I pluged into my radio and then into the wall. The charger would not go into charge mode and now my radio is dead like a fuse or something burnt out in it. I had the leads all hooked up corectly (black to red and red to black). Is there a fuse in the radio? Any ideas please?

Yes, their is a fuse in the 8103. It's on the rear board above the battery compartment.

That little fuse is a pain in the b**t. I've blown it three times in two years. Go to radio shack and get a handful. You will blow it fast charging and load testing. I haven't blown one yet on the discharger.

Make sure you have the polarity of the charger correct. It is the opposite of Futaba.
