Receiver servo outputs for > 10 channels
Hi all,
I have a technical question that I can't find out for myself because I don't have a >10 channel system available to test. I'm designing a circuit that goes between the receiver and the servos and I want to make sure I can handle all receiver types.
If a typical frame is at around 50Hz (20mS) and each servo pulse is a max of 2mS, that only leaves room for 10 channels.
How do the systems with more than 10 channels handle this?
Do they slow down the frame rate to fit in more channels?
Or, is there something else going on there like more than one channel at a time?
I suppose they could be sending out the first 10 channels in a frame and the next frame has the remaining channels but after looking all over the internet I haven't found any information on this.
TIA
Ken

RE: Receiver servo outputs for > 10 channels
Some systems will send the primary channels + Aux 1 each & every frame then balance will be split over alternate frames. Any ON/OFF type channels will be automatic candidates for alternate frame data.
