DX7 and Charging.
Brand new DX7 user here. I was reading the manual about charging the rx and tx. Can I use an Acer super smart charge or a hobbico accucycle to charge setup with? I hooked it up to the wall wart for the over night initial charge. What about quick charging and such? Thanks for any and all advice.

G'day Mate,
Use the wall charger for about 30 hours, to balance charge, see here,

Follow these directions, & your batteries will last longer.
I don't use the Ace Smart charger for my TX batteries, as the Smart charger Tx charging section is only rated to 1000Ma, & your battery is 1500Ma, so I slow charge when needed.
I found the Ace would not shut down to slow charge, it was still charging, at 12Volts, lucky I was watching it. Anyway I only need to charge that huge capacity TX battery about once a month.

Thanks for your help..... On the wall wart right now.... I charged it for 16 hours with the wall wart last night, flew a couple of flights today... I think I like the 2.4 very well...

As long as the polarity of the charge plug is correct, center pin negative, you can use any charger that is compatible with 8 cell Nimh batteries. I recommend keeping the charge rate to 1 amp or under.
