Is JR7202 tx able to use different rcvr if i use JR crystals?
Hello group ive been flying helis, started with cx then cp pro now had my t rex bout a month. i really have too many rc things and am trying to only buy what i need. my question is can i use my jr7202 with a different brand reciever? if the answer is no can i use a jr crystal in the other reciever to make them compatible. i have 4 diff transmitters now and its ridiculous. is my only answer to buy jr recievers for all my flying things? just wondering can i use recievers from parkflyers with my 7202. thx hope its not too ramblin.

We only recommend JR, other manufacturers do make JR compatible receivers, so it depends on what you have if they will work or not. Crystal type and brand must be matched to the component it is used in, changing brands of crystal will not change compatibility.

Hitec makes receivers made to work with JR receivers and they work awesome, but you must use a matching Hitec crystal with the new reciever. I have 3 JR receivers and 4 Hitec receivers that I have been useing with both my JR 6102 7202 without a hitch.
