AR6100 distance
Hi
I just got my DX7 and would like to know how much distance anyone is getting on the AR6100. I fly my EDGE540 electric now and am getting about 300to400 ft. away from me with my 72mhz system . I got the AR7000 with the system but I am going to put these in my nitro planes and would like to put the 6100 in my electrics. Would anyone respond with what distance they are getting on the 6100. Would a range test tell me at 90 ft. that I can get 400ft. in the air.
Thanks

RE: AR6100 distance
Range distance will depend on the area it is being used in and the model being flown. The range of the AR6100 is adequate for slow and park flyer aircraft, and micro and mini helis. Anything larger than that, should use the AR7000.

RE: AR6100 distance
To me, and many others, it seems they are very conservative with their range estimates. I could pretty much fly most planes (including bigger than park flyers) out of sight. However, it is not recommended. Use the full range AR6200 or what ever one is the full range one you require. It does give me lots of confidence in knowing that the range even on the AR6100 is as good as it is.
