binding problem.
Hi there,
just got the module for my PCM9X2, came with a Ar9000 and I bought the tiny 6100 as well.
The 6100 binded first time no problem using the method in the instructions. I am having a problem to get the 9000 to bind. I connect up as per the instructions using the switch harness, switch on the power to the RX and just get a single flash and then nothing. Batteries are good. I am using an after market switch harness with just + and - and no signal lead , do I have to use the genuine JR switch harness which has the signal lead included?
Sorry if this is a bit dumb.
My second question is how should I connect the 9000 for 120 degree 3 servo mode, I am a little bit confused with the instructions in the pack
The 6100 is for trex 450 How should this be connected also again 120 3 servo
Sorry for so many questions and many thanks

RE: binding problem.
I had the same problem when I was binding a model with my Spektrum. I took the switch wire that brings the juice into the RX and moved it to an AUX port, then plugged my Bind plug into the original switch (Bat) port, and the Bind took then. This was taught to me by the guys at JR service.
Hope it works for you.

RE: binding problem.
Jim got it right. The switch must have a 3-wire charge lead to bind. Spektrum now has the switches for sale thru Horizon if you don't want to buy the H/D JR switch. I now bind my receivers on the work bench before they go in the plane. Dennis

RE: binding problem.
I have learned to set my failsafe positions BEFORE I button up the radio compartment! I'm thinking that the 3-wire switch harnesses will be a big help on that! Glad to hear about them.
