9303 and S400 buddy box question
I use a 9303 and have access to an S400 to use as a buddy box.
Do dual rates and expo transfer to the buddy box when then trainer switch is used on the 9303?
The manual says yes but I when I tried, my dual rates on the 9303 had no affect when buddy box was attached and trainer switch 'switched'.
Page 59 of JRP9241-manual.pdf states:
"All Dual rates and Exponential settings in the Master TX are transferred to the Slave TX. The Slave TX battery must be charged"
Again, I'm using 9303 (master) S400 (slave).
What am I missing here?
I'm trying to train my 8 year old daughter on a .40 size trainer and trying to tame it down via D/R and expo.
Thanks,
Dave

RE: 9303 and S400 buddy box question
With that set up, both systems need to be programmed for the model, so in order to have D/R's and expo, the slave system would also need to have these functions which it does not. In this case to reduce the sensitivity you would need to reduce the throw mechanically on the model.
