Default JR 7202 Springs

I have a JR 7202 transmitter that has such loose springs on the gimbals that it is difficult for me to use. (I use a tray with stick extensions.) I have been trying to get stronger springs for it but they will not sell them to me even though they have them. I am in Canada and this means that I have to send the xmitter all the way to them and they have to send it all the way back to me across customs both ways for the sake of 10 minutes work to change these springs. If this is the way JR chooses to treat its customers perhaps I should look at buying a different brand next time.

Maybe you should buy a different brand, but I'm not sure how that would change the way Horizon does business.

Sometimes it's necessary to fit within the parameters of how a business does business, in order to get what you want. In the end, won't you be more happy?

I guess I'm just old fashoned but in my world rule one is that the customer is always right. Rule 2 refers back to rule one.
What they are telling me is that they will not go to the trouble of putting 3 little springs into an envelope and mailing them to me, but they expect me to box up my xmitter and send it god only knows how many miles to them and patiently wait for its return through customs each way. and no flying in the mean time.

My guess is: it's a liability issue. Just my 2 cents.

If it's liability I can sign a disclaimer.

G'day Mate,
Have you tried adjusting the tension on the springs you already have?

Long time ago. That was the first thing I did.

Service parts are not available for sale. Also changing them yourself would void the warranty on the system.

about 6 months ago they sold me the springs took about 20 min to put in. I think JR is missing the boat here, sell the guy the springs and be done with it, sounds like his radio is out of warranty and he will sign a disclaimer so whats the big deal.
