Default Binding without switch?

Is it possible to bind Spektrum receivers without the three wire switch?

Can one use the bind plug straight into the receiver with the voltage supplied via a BEC or Rx battery?

Cheers
Brian

Default RE: Binding without switch?

when I changed mine over from 72. I plugged the bind plug into the battery port and the battery into any port on the receiver. All the switches in my planes didn't have the 3-wire switches. After the binding was complete I plugged the battery into the battery port. The rest in history. Iv'e been very pleased with Spektrum. Dennis

Sure!! Just move the battery to any open channel slot and put the bind plug into the Battery slot and bind away.
