JR 8711 and amplifier

Danny, I have a 24" JR extension with a built-in amplifier that I would like to use with a JR 8711 servo at 6 volts. Will this set-up do any damage to the servo? Amplifier? Receiver? My pride?

An amplifier may cause jittering issues etc. It is not necessary or recommended. It shouldn't hurt the servo, but it may affect performance.
