Default AR9000, what batteries?

I just got my module for the 10X and a AR9000 that I plan on using in a 50cc Exreme Flight with 5 digital servos (8711 or 5955) and was wondering what the best way to power it would be. I have heard the AR9000 needs a steady supply of power but I don't want to use a powerbox unless you think it is a good idea. Any help would be appreciated.

Any system requires a steady supply of power in order to operate properly. Powerboxes are not necessary or recommended. The exact battery you choose is up to you, I'd personally use either a 5 cell Nimh pack around 2700 mah or so (depending on how many flights per charge you want and how much weight is acceptable for the model), or a lithium pack with a regulator.

Thanks, I was thinking Li with a regulator, only one battery of 2800 or so and just keep it charged between flights.
