Default JR 8103 and Futaba 401 Gyro Prog. Help

I have this combo on my Trex 450 SA and I need to know how to properly program my Radio to work with this Gyro.
I also want to know if I have to connect the gain gyro wire to the 5th channel (Gear) or to the Aux 2?
Thanks.

If I remember the 8103 correctly, aux 2 is the channel to use for the built in gyro gain function. You can use any channel however using travel adjust to set the gain. I am not familiar with the set up of that gyro, so I do not know the settings that will be required.

Thanks Danny; I have installed the gyro using the Aux 2 and the Rudder D/R as a switch for the Heading Hold and normal mode. I have not reduced the throws, travel or anything in the rudder channel and I have a problem. When I move the rudder stick on my transmitter (Left or right) I am obtaining the full throw of the the servo at the middle of the stick movement. I have the 9650 digital servo and it is not linked to the pushrod (To know how much travel does it have). How can I fix this on my radio?
Thanks.

Andrew: Thanks for your help, I will print it and start with my radio programation right away, by the way congratulations for your very helpful and accurate review of the Trex SA I'd wish to know if there is already a thread running about your review because I'd like to share some doubts with my set up.
Thank you a million and keep on top with your great work.

That is fairly common when setting up a gyro on the ground, in operation in flight, my guess is that would not happen, but you should check w/ Futaba for that to be sure.
