JR Buddy Box with mixing
I'm looking to get a buddy box to attach to my 8103 for others to fly my Stick. I have lots of mixing programmed in....does the buddy boxes (radio) side utilize the mixing that is programmed into the 8103? I used to fly Futaba and if the host radio didn't have everything set to zero it would cause havoc on the buddy side of the setup, trims would be all out of whack.

The slave radio does not use any of the programming features of the master transmitter. In order to use the trainer system, both radios must be set up to fly the plane individually and be trimmed the same as well.

For an ultra stick with the quad flaps, if you are using the 7 channel set up, i.e. each flap servo into it's own channel, you will need at a minimum a 378. If you have the flaps Y'd, you could use a 662.
