Default PCM SXII voltmeter woes

My beloved SXII began showing a low voltage reading some months ago, usually about one volt below the actual for the battery. I have continued to use it without other issues. This past saturday when I turned the transmitter on, it read 15.7 volts. Independant check confirmed the battery was properly charged at 10.6 volts. Should I discontinue the use or just confirm the charge with a separate meter and ignore the on-bord voltmeter?

Send it in. Some function may be connected to the numbers it puts out, such as shutting down at a certain voltage. Not a handy feature during flight.

I hear Radio South is really good.
