Default JR DSX9 and 9303 2.4

Good morning Danny,

Can you tell me the difference between the JR 9303 2.4 and the DSX9 model which is destined for the Australian market?

I can see a difference in the push button on the top left (timer/trainer) as apposed to the 9303, but are there going to be any other major technical differences in output or specifications (not withstanding a different voltage for the charger).

I have been studying the 9303 manual in preparation for the DSX9 to arrive and would like to know how compatible they are.

Thanks,

Keith (VH 22897)

G'day Keith,
The DSX9 has digital trims on all sticks, the 9303 has analogue trim on throttle, check em out here, http://modelflight.com.au/jr_rc/jr_9x_v3_x9303_dsm2.htm

Thanks Allan,

I have seen the pages at Model Flight, in fact I have one on order from them - if it ever arrives. Gone from July to Decemeber is the latest I think!!

There appears to be other subltle differences in the models as well as the trim (I actually like the analog trim on the throttle).

Are you using 2.4 equipment yourself?

Thanks for the reply.

Keith.

I'm not aware of the extent of the differences as I work with US systems only, however the trim difference I would guess would be the main operational difference.

Analog trim would be a real drawback if you ever wanted to convert the Tx from Mode 1 to Mode 2 or vice versa.

That is correct, if the system had an analogue trim, then the system would need to be returned to your regional repair centre for conversion. If fitted with digital trims then its a simple matter of conversion.
