DX 7 & JR 9303 Trainer compatible?
I have a JR 9303 that I want to use for instructing and need to know if I can add the Spektrum module to the 9303 and connect it to a DX 7 via trainer cord such that I am using the 9303 and the student would use the DX 7. I understand that I would have to bind the receiver to the master transmitter.
Thanks

You dont need the module, I've hooked the DX7 as master with the JR 9303 as slave and it worked. Use this cord http://www.hangar-9.com/Products/Def...?ProdID=HAN173

My bad.[X(] you want to use your 9303 as master with the DX7 as Trainer. If the plane has a the 2.4 Rx then you will need the module and bind it as you said. if you want to use the DX7 as master and the 9303 ''without'' the module as the trainer, all you need is the trainer cord. sorry just woke up

The 9303 is actually better for the instructor because the trainer button is in a better place than on the DX7. I'm not real sure if you can reasign the trainer buttons on the DX7 like you can the other switches.

RE: DX 7 & JR 9303 Trainer compatible?
[8D]I am having trouble using the DX-7 as the Master and the 9303/2.4 as the Slave.
Problem #1...Unable to reverse the Rudder...went to the list on the 9303 and Reversed the switch....it had no affect...it would not reverse direction.
Problem #2...Unable to match the elevators (using 2 elevator servo's) Went to Mix #6...Pos#0...+100/+100, Pos#1...+100/+100....Mix #6 was set Elevator/Aux#2
Unable to match the DX-7...deflections.
Problem #3...Unable to match the Ailerons...Set on Flaperons....Servo's plugged in #2 and #5...Tried everything..unable to match the throws of the DX-7
NoteEVICE SEL: Flight Mode: INH, Gear Flap Aux#2 Aux#3 Aux#4 ALL INH
What have I missed????

RE: DX 7 & JR 9303 Trainer compatible?
Humm? we just pretty much plugged them together and set the DX7 as the 1st setting in the trainer mode (forget exactly what it says) and the DX7 controlled all the trims and hi/lo rates on the 9303? didnt have to reverse anything?

Both systems will need to be programmed for the model stand alone outside of the trainer. Then connect them, set the DX7 to be the master (standard trainer, not pilot link) and leave the trainer function in the 9303 set to the default settings.
