JR 9303
Hi
I have the JR9303 tx and the 790UL rx in a Trex450SE V2.
Kindly clarify how to use the Gyro sense menu.
I have hooked up the gyro to AUX 2.
I inderstand that when auto is enabled in the gyro sense menu that it automaticlly uses the FM mode which on mine is the flap switch.
Top postion is essentially normal, mid postion is idle up 1 or stunt 1, bottom position idle up 2 or stunt 2, and then the hold switch.
Also in the menu are settings for postion 1 position 2 and position 3 with adjustable settings. As I am relatively new to this heli stuff how does altering the percentages affect the gyro as I don't remeber seeing any postings on this. Also the manual is not too clear on this unless I am missing something.
It's probabaly me but I would appreciate some clariifcation or suggestions as I would like to use Aux 2 channel and stuff like that.
Hope this makes sense and sorry to bother you.
Thanks

RE: JR 9303
What gyro are you using? With many gyros, anything above 50% in the gain function is tail lock with 100% being full tail lock gain and 50% being zero gain, below 50% is rate mode with 0% being full gain in rate mode and 50% again being zero. But this does depend on the gyro.

RE: JR 9303
Hi
I am using the Futaba 401 gyro with a JR 3400G servo.
The other servos are Hitec 65MGs and a CC 45 ESC-set up for heli fixed endpoints.
ALso is it okay to enable expo as auto in the swash mix menu.
Thanks kindly

I believe that gyro sets up as I described above, but you'd really need to check with Futaba for more information on that. Yes, I'd recommend activating the expo in the swash menu.
