Default Tx X9303 Rx 6200 Rx pwr on Throt not safe

Binding the receiver with throttle closed.
If receiver powered on without transmitter, all servos go to neutral, wheels go down but throttle goes to wide open.

Once transmitter is on, if turned off throttle goes to fail-safe throttle down.

Does the 6200 support throttle down on receiver only power up ?

It should go to idle (sensibly) Have you checked any servo reversals or even some ESC's can be reversed. Not sure if you are talking about a nitro or electric.
Have you tried another rx?
Certainly it should stay at idle. Just think of a scenario when an electric model has the rx turned on accidently . Phew. I'd rather not. It simply HAS to go to idle.

Did you rebind your system after aircraft setup. I had the same thing but it was because during aircraft setup, the throttle servo had to be be reversed.

>>Not sure if you are talking about a nitro or electric.

It is nitro, no ESC or BEC involved.

>> Have you tried another rx?

I have just setup a second similar plane using second 6200 receiver and it does the same thing.

>>Did you rebind your system after aircraft setup.

Yes. I am following the instructions that come with the receiver, bind plug into a 3 wire switch, rebind after programming.

And I gave some incorrect information: It does not go to open throttle, it does nothing. I turned the throttle servo to open manually to see if it would go closed when rx power turned on. It does not. The servo has no signal and just stays where it was. Until I turn on the Tx, I can manually move the servo because it has no signal.

It appears that the 6200 thinks I am flying an electric with an ESC.

Oops, my bad. As we used to say, RTFBD.

I just re-read ALL the binding instructions carefully. It is WAD (Working As Designed)

If you have properly set your fail safe while binding, the system will not move the servo from low throttle. If it is moving, it is a problem of the servo moving on its own, not commanded by the receiver.
