Default JR X9303 2.4 PROBLEM

Hello!

I have a brand new JR X9303 2.4 W/ R921 rx problem.

Went thru the bind process and everything was a solid yellow. Day after the solid went to a flashing yellow, jittery servos, HITEC 5245 throttle servo went to lock up way past end point and then burned up. Since then we still have a flashing yellow as if the TX can't find the RX.

The bind plug is still not attached as was suggested by JR! I need some solid advice hopefully from JR about what may be the problem before I put this in a 10k plane.

I hope the problem can easily be resolved . . .

Is the flashing a rapid flash or a slow flash? Also what is flashing, the lights in the main receiver as well as the remote or just the remote? If if it is a rapid flash of all of the lights, then the receiver is going into bind mode. That would only happen if the signal is shorted with the negative pin in the bind port of the receiver. I would try to disconnect the servos, bind the receiver to the TX, and one by one install the servos. Also check for any connector issues to make sure everything is plugged in correctly and working properly.

Also make sure that you have not pressed and held the bind button on the TX during power up after the bind process has been completed. After you have bound the RX to the TX, and if you do not need to rebind, only press the button during range testing, and do not press the button while turning the system on.

The flashing is quick in both receiver and remote! I pulled the unit out of the plane and will bench test everything again by rebinding and install the servos.

I performed a rebind on the bench and so far so good. Everything is a solid yellow. When everything started dying the first time I was going thru a power expander which has a regulated 6.0v for the servos and 5.0v for the receiver. The batts are 2 2600mah 7.4v Lithium Ions.

Is there any other test I can run on this unit or should I go ahead and send back to JR?

By the way tonights bench run was a 4.8v nicad straight to the switch and the servo straight to the receiver.

Since I explaining symptoms I just noticed on the last power up the bottom yellow light on the receiver blinked a few times and the servo was a little jittery.

ok 12:00 a.m. the last switch on tonight and we have a problem. Armed unit with a solid yellow, move the throttle lever and the receiver is flashing fast, and the remote is flashing slow. The throttle servo responds very jittery. What is the lowest volatge this unit will operate?

3.5 volts. It sounds like you have a power issue, or perhaps you are swamping the receiver by having the TX too close to the receiver.
