DX7 Binding AR7000,AR6200, AR6100
I just recieved my DX7 yestereday (airplane light ver) with AR6100.
Can all of the three receivers in my subject line use power from a BEC?
Binding button - what is the clip like black plastic item I found in the same bag as the binding button. A holder? If so please discribe its use.
Also the manual (page19) recommends to "store it in a convenient place". Any thoughts where that could be on the DX7? It maybe needed at the field and should be near by yet safe.
RE: AR6100 To bind, do I use a set up similar to page 18 in the manual? Assuming I can use a BEC I would need a 3 wire switched split wire. If so, would I then connect the BEC lead into the BATT port of the AR6100 and the bind button into the split lead of the of the switch harness.??
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
I have been using a rather simple 4 channel Futaba Tx - and will say thank you in advance.

Yes.
It is a lanyard holder for the bind plug.
In your flight box, on a neck strap, in a transmitter case are a few places you might store it.
You can power the receiver through any open port, so install the bind plug into the bat/bind port, power the receiver and bind.
