G770 3D / 8900G voltage
Hi,
I'm building a 30 size electric heli and am using a G770 3D gyro / 8900G tail rotor servo. I'm using a BEC which is capable of two voltage outputs, 5.2v and 5.8v. I'd like to use 5.8 to speed up the DS821 servos I'm using on the rest of the heli but as I understand it the 8900G servo won't take that much voltage. I also have an Align 5.1v regulator. I was thinking of using 5.8v from the BEC and running the regulator between the gyro and the RX, or possibly between the gyro and the 8900G.
I'd like your opinion using this setup and whether the regulator should go between the RX and gyro or the gyro and the tail rotor servo.
Thanks,
Dave
