Buddy box
Danny,
My club just purchased a DX6i and a spare AR9100 to convert 2 of our trainers to 2.4. I noticed while reading the manual that we now need another Spectrum radio to use as a buddy box.
Is this the true deal? Does Spectrum only work with another Spectrum as a buddy box.
If so, I'm a little perturbed that this information is not readily available prior to buying and reading the instruction manual.

RE: Buddy box
Not knowing the DX6i, I cannot comment on this particular model.
However, the DX6 / DX7 and X9303 are based on JR equipments and therefore will work with any JR model that supports DSC / Trainer functionality. I have tested a DX6 / DX7 / DSX9 (X9303) with various JR sets and all seem to work.
