rates and flight modes
Hi,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to set up all of the dual rates on an 8103 so they all change by changing the flight mode switch? If this is possible, I have not been able to figure out how. I would like all low rates on one flight mode, and all high rates on the other. I think this would make it much easier than moving all three switches.
Thanks, in advance, for your help.
Todd

I have looked into this as well. I posted that question on discussion boards and got no reply. I read the manual cover to cover. I read every piece of documentation I could find to no avail. I checked with the author of the book "Guide to Computer Radio Control Systems" and he didn't think it was possible. Finally, I sent an email to Horizon Hobbies but haven't received a response from them.
Looks like we are out of luck.

The 8103 does not have flight modes in aircraft mode. You can "cheat" and set up 3 programmable mixes, mix the channel to itself, assign the mixes to the same switch, and put in negative percentages to take away throw. Unfortunately there is no other way to achieve this with the 8103. At this time, the only JR aircraft system with this feature is the 10X.
