JR 347 issue
I just got my old, faithful JR 347 back from a tuneup and replacement of the lithium battery. All the programming was lost so I started reloading it. I had the, maybe not so bright, idea to do the reprogramming with the DSC cable plugged in so that I would not use a lot of battery power with the RF section transmitting while I was reprogramming. I ended up with the following situation. When the transmittter is turned on, the "master" screen shows as if the radio were being used as the master in a buddy box mode. This happens even without the DSC or trainer cord plugged in. I cannot get the normal screen with the model name to appear, so I'm not 100% sure what model memory is active. The RF function seems to work, but I have not thoroughly checked it out to confirm variations from different models. The DSC function will no longer work at all. I have tried "RESETING" all the model memories to get back to the factory defaults, but this problem with the trainer function did not go away.
Any suggestions?
