Default Spectrum Receiver 7000 question

At what voltage does the receiver go to fail safe? ie: You lose active control. Will it return quickly when the voltage rises again?

Default RE: Spectrum Receiver 7000 question

Whether or not it will return quickly depends entirely on the firmware version.

Turn your system on.

Turn the reciever off and turn it back on, one of three things will happen.
1. It will take several seconds to link and the reciever lights will come on steady when it does. (Oldest firmware)
2. It will connect nearly instantly and the reciever lights will be on steady. This is the minimum version I would fly with.
3. It will connect nearly instantly and the reciever lights will both be flashing about 1 second intervals, this is the latest firmware.

If you have an adaquate power system for the load you expect, voltage drop offs will be a non-issue.
