what receiver are you using? Brand, model number, etc. The 8103 will transmit either PPM or PCM mode, you have to know what receiver you're using to select this.

First, get thee to:

http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...odId=JRP8612**

and get the manual if you don't have it . . . .

Then, take the time to actually *read* the manual. Love the manual. *BE* the manual!!!!

Most likely, you are missing something simple, such as the detail that throttle on a JR rig is channel 1, not 3 like Futaba and HiTec.

If the manual doesn't get you where you need to go, come back and ask a specific question. What you posted above gives us no information to go on whatsoever, other than to refer you to the correct manual for your radio . . . .

[8D]I think I know what your problem is....First change the modulation to ZPCM....not SPCM...or PPM...it should work.

Having the correct modulation is very important. If you have a Non-PCM Rx or you are using your Tx with a Flight Simulator, you need PPM Modulation. If you are using a PCM Rx, then you need to set the Modulation, on that Model Memory, to the correct version of PCM. When you have the correct Modulation and the correct channel. you should be communicating. This is true for Hitec, Futaba, Airtronics, etc.

If you buy a 2.4 module, you also need to set the modulation to PPM.

If you switch to a dedicated 2.4 Tx, you won't have to worry about modulation.
