Default DSM2 technology

Does anyone know if JR is looking at going away from the DSM2 technology that locks on to two channels to a system that shifts between channels?

I am not looking to start any crap but I am just trying to get some clarification on something that I had heard.

Thanks

Are you talking JR (ie the Japanese company) or Horizon (JR Distributor) ??

Sorry for the delay there.... had to go out for some time.

JR (Japan) [ Sorry I have to specify that as many people across the water automatically think that JR and Horizon are one and the same or worst still, some think that Horizon own JR] are producing a DSMJ Frequency Hopping based system. The J in DSMJ denotes that it is primarily for the Japanese home market as the DSM/DSM2 based systems are limited to 10mW.

Whether Horizon will introduce the DSMJ into their catalogue is anyones guess but I would say highly unlikely as it would be a competing system to the one that they have JR manufacturing under licence for them (DX7, DX7SE, X9303 and 12X).
