DX7 Programming flaps & ailerons
I had a quick look on other posts for this query but can't find an answer.
The problem I have is that when I operate the flaps the ailerons work as well.
Setup
The two flap servos are connexted to the AUX2 channel via a Y harness
The left aileron servo is connected to the AUX1 channel, the right aileron servo to the AIL channel and FLAPERON is activated in the menu
AUX2 is set to the 3 position switch and FLAPS is set to SYSTEM.
The ailerons operate correctly when moving the stick from left to right but when the 3 postion switch (mode switch) is activated the flaps deflect (both down) but so do the ailerons (one up and one down I think). I can get everything to work correctly but only by setting FLAP to INH in the setup menu but then this doesn't allow for the adding of elevator deflection down as the flaps are applied as you can do with FLAP set to SYSTEM.
Is there a conflict that prevents the flaperon function being used with the flap system or am I doing something wrong.
Thanks in advance and cheers
David
