Are S-PCM Rx's Compatible with X-347 PCM?
Hi Guys,
Been away from R/C about 10yrs so pretty ignorant about compatibilty here- I'd like to get a couple JR receivers for my old X-347PCM radio which came with an NER-910XZ. I take it this is "Z PCM". I see "S-PCM" receivers available, will these work with my X-347? Thanks for any insight...

Sorry but the answer is no.
The ZPCM system is 9Bit (512 step) and the SPCM is 10 Bit (1024 step) and as such not compatible. SPCM Transmitters started at the X388S level.

The X347 is still a good set and can be used with a 2.4 GHz module to give you a decent entry into 2.4 GHz systems. Don't throw it away as there are many still in use.
