Default DSM2 vs or DSMJ

which is better? or what is DSMJ? is there advantage of it over DSM2 or what? simple explanation would be nice... thanks

Basically DSM / DSM2 is a modified DSSS system that selects 2 channels and hops between them. Most countries accept this and allows the same power rating as for true FHSS.

However, the Japanese authorities will only allow 10 mW for DSM / DSM2, so in oreder to allow the full 100mW RF Power, JR have introduced DSMJ which "should" only be for Japan (hence the J in the title).

JR was working on this before they teamed up with Spektrum/Horizon and released the DSM system.

Both methods have their advantages and are both just as reliable as each other.
