Default X9303 twin engine

I can't seem to make both engines operate the same. The left engine is plugged in to Aux 4 and slaved to Thr but I can only get the trim to move the left thr a tiny amount. Works ok for the R Thr. Throttle curves are adjusted the same. Any help out there?

I can’t duplicate your problem. If you slave AUX4 to THRO with a linear mix, the trim works both throttles. A better way is to use the engine dual/mate in the Wing TYPE menu and mate the throttle to AUX3. That way you have the option of using the AUX TRIM as a separate trim for the throttle on the AUX3 channel. How are you slaving AUX4 to the throttle?

With the curve mix I see your problem. There may be a solution by playing with the travel adjustments and subtrims for the THRO and AUX4. A simpler solution would be to put the left engine on some channel other than AUX4 by means of Wing Type menu dual/mate. When you do that you will get four throttle curves. One for each engine for each of the two select positions. I don’t fly twin engines but I would think with individual throttle curves for each engine you will be able to match the rpm’s.

ORIGINAL: codimasta

Trim function only works on Mix #5 & 6
That is true for the DX7 and possibly for the 8103. On the XP9303 and X9303 the trim for the throttle is carried through to the slave channel on all the linear mixes. The trim for rudder, aileron and elevatoris not carried through on any of the linear mixes. For these three channels you have to use the dual/mate or set your wing type appropriately to couple the trim.
