This is my first computer radio and I been flying my Yak 54 (50cc) size with it. I'm pretty much dumber than a bag of hammers when it comes to computer radios. I been flying the Yak with the Y harness deal and I want to change it to separated channels on them. Plus I want to have flapperons on it. Can someone please help me with this change I want to make. I've read through alot of this site but nothing is clear to me.

Head to the instruction manual it's pretty clear in there how to set it up. You have to go into the system menu for that model and enable the second aileron and assign it to a free Aux channel, then everything will show up as R AIL and L AIL

What BarracudaHockey wrote will work. If your aircraft has no flaps but you want the ailerons to serve as flaperons, the quickest way is to set the wing type to flaperon.

In the system list, find an unused model memory. Set the model Type SEL to ACRO.

In the Wing TYPE menu set the Wing: to FLAPERON.

Before going to the function list set the three-position FLAP switch to the middle or position 1. This is done as the flaperons initially are either 100% up or 100% down when the switch is in either position 0 or 2. You will wonder why your ailerons are acting funny.

In the function list FLAP SYS. menu, setup your flaperons and elevator.

Use the MONITOR menu to see where your ailerons are located.

If you experiment with the programming, the manual will become clearer.

Allan,
Thank you for your response, it was very helpful.
It did'nt take long to get things set up,.......But......I have more questions.
The flapperons are working but I have to use both flap switch and aux 2 switch, just can't seem to figure this one out. Also how do I trim them down to, lets say 30%. Thanks again for your help.

Everyone in our club uses Futaba.
Thanks again,
Bag of Hammers(but getting better)
