Dual Flap Servos on Hangar 9 PTS P51 mustang
I have a friend that bought on of the newer versions of the H9 mustang PTS. He is putting dual flap servos into the plane, but is having the one servo reversed problem when plugging both servos into a Y harness. the plane came with the DX6i radio. is there a way to use the gear channel as a second flap channel on this radio, eliminating the Y harness and giving adjustability independantly to each servo?

RE: Dual Flap Servos on Hangar 9 PTS P51 mustang
Hi, I had a similar problem on my Blue Nose P-51, there are special things available to reverse a servo, I re mounted the servo by attaching it to the underside of the top of the wing, quite a bit of playing around, but it worked, I actually attached it with good quality double sided tape.
cheers, Oldtimer.

Try thisX-6 Dual Flap
Go to Mix#5 (Allows use of trim)..I am not sure if the DX6i has a mix#5
Setup: Master Flap
Slave Gear
Rate +100 %
+100 %
Go to Mix#1
Setup:Master Gear
Slave Gear
Rate -100%
Rate -100%
This inhibits the Gear Switch

A reversing Y harness is the easiest. Thats not a very flexable radio.
