Electric? Or gas/nitro?
Pull up your servo monitor screen, that should be your first stop for troubleshooting any issue like this. |
RE: DX8 throttle response
I changed my throttle curve that seem to fix my problem

RE: DX8 throttle response
A bit of quick research showed that the speed controls I have are consistent.
The normal servo control pulse is between 1000 us (0%) and 2000 us (100%). The speed controls start the motors spinning at about 1100 to 1150 us. a "factory reset" of the transmitter settings usually sets the defaults to about the normal servo pulse range for 0 to 100% travel. Some speed controls can be set to different ranges, and some have a "learn mode" that adapts them to the transmitter at power on. You might find a couple of little yellow boxes at your friendly hobby shop, or a model show. One is a digital servo pulse readout, and the other a servo tester. They work quite well for testing speed control motor combinations. I also use a watt meter from Bantam. |
