Spectrum 9030T

Hi all, not sure what the SRXL port is for on our he latest RXs. Can it be used for a second battery?

It can provide power, yes, but it is intended as a serial interface for things like flight controllers and stabilizers and channel expanders like the XP8000.

It can't be used for power on any of the PowerSafe receivers, but on this particular one it can.

Thanks Andy, what about the AR 8000. No battery port? Is it suitable for 30cc gas airplanes?

The battery can go into any port, including the BIND port. You might have to put power temporarily into another port when binding, but you only need to do that twice anyway - once to set up the model, and the second time to set the failsafes for everything.
