8103- can't use throttle trim on gear mix
 

Hi Danny:

I have resolved all but one of my problems on my three engine plane. I have mixed the other two throttles to gear and spoiler. The only problem I have now is that the servo on the gear chanel does not respond to the throttle trim. THe throttle and the spoiler servos both respond correctly. Is there a way to make it work or am I going to have to live with it?

Perhaps the better question would be, if you had an 8103 and a trimotor, how would you mix the three throttel servos together? (don't say matchbox! I don't have room for another molecule in the fuselage)

You need to use mixes 5 and 6 for your mix from the throttle channel to the aux channel in order for the trim to work. Mix 5 and 6 are inclusive mixes which will allow the master trim to also work on the slave channel. The other mixes will not. If those mixes are unavailable, your only other option is to use an item like the matchbox.
