JR XF421EX

My 421 is a 1999 model and came with a programming alert sticker on it that warned the user of a "programming anomaly". It states that when you select the wing options like delta or vtail that mix will be applied to both models. That wasn't a problem before becasue I didn't fly anything but the standard wing. Now I have to keep changing back and forth, and if I ever forget to check....well you know.

The sticker says that Horizon Hobby Product Support will make the necessary change to this programming. My question is: Are there charges involved? How long would you need the radio. Please advise with the shipping address.
Thanks

If your system does not change the wing type when you change the model as it should to what you have set, it is the old processor. The new processor can be installed to correct that. Yes, changes are involved in the swap. You can find information here on sending the system in as well as a service checklist that you can fill out with the necessary info to include with the system. Send the system Attn: JR Service.

I'm assuming you meant "charges for the changes". I didn't find the correct link for the needed service. Using the search bar for the 421 only lead me to items for sale. I hope I'll be able to locate......thanks.

No, I didn't mean that. It is actually a no charge service.
