Gear Switch
 

Hi Danny,

I have a JR X-378 TX currently configured in acro mode for a plane using 5 channels. I am not using the gear channel. Is it possible to configure my radio to use the gear switch as a mix switch or possibly as a throttle cut switch?

Yes, you can use the gear switch for various functions, you can set these up in mixes 3 or 4. You will set up whatever mix you would like, for a throttle cut you would set up a throttle to throttle mix, then assign the mix to the gear switch in the mix switch selection. Then set the rates as desired. Another possibility is if you are not using channel 5 for anything would be to mix gear to whatever channel you like and set the rates as needed in each switch position. Which method you use will depend on the set up that you are wanting to do.

tried it out. worked well. Now im getting actually aquainted with this radio (after owning it for two yrs :eek:)
