10x JR smoke set up detail
 

Hello Danny. I see your respond to other smoke question, but I have specific query. Would like to set gear switch for smoke on off and mix with trottle (low trottle shut off) AND use aux 4 or 5 (knobs) to contol max motor run to fine tune smoke rate from electric smoke pump. Is this too much to ask?

Just do some mixing.. mix the gear to the throttle, set the gear switch as the off on, then mix it to a knob I guess.. Kinda how I do steering on my jets.

You could either set up a mix throttle to say aux 4 or gear to aux 4 to set this up. With the gear to aux 4 you would have more of a "on-off" set up, then adjust the rate with the aux 4 pot. With the throttle to aux 4 mix you could have the smoke increase with throttle. For the throttle to aux 4 mix, set up the throttle to aux 4 mix, press page, and assign it to the gear switch, then page back to the main mix screen, flip the switch in the position that you want the mix active, put the throttle stick in the position you want this on (above half throttle), and enter in say a 100% value. If you want to change the low throttle stick position, put the stick in the position you want the smoke to be "on-off" and press Store under OFFSET.

For the gear to aux 4 mix, set up a gear to aux 4 mix, press page and then press sel under STK, put the throttle stick in the position that you want the mix active, and press STORE on the far bottom right corner. Now press page back to the main mix screen, put the gear switch in the position you want the mix on, and the throttle stick in the position that you want the mix on, and enter in a 100% value.
