Hi Danny,

I have a couple older 8417's and I'm not sure if I got them before the motor replacement or not is there any way I could check to see if mine have the newer motor?

If the servo has a dot on the servo case (a stick on dot, I believe they are generally a blue dot) it is the newer motor. If it doesn't have a dot, it likely is an older motor (unless the dot was removed from the servo). To find out you would need to send the servo in.
