XP8103 V tail and electric sailplane

Danny

Forgive my ignorance but I am a bit confused. I want to use the 8103 on a Filip 600 V tail electric sailplane. I assume I should use the GLIDER mode and select the V Tail option. I would then use the SPOILER (left stick) for Throttle the same as the ACRO mode. Since it has two aileron servos I also assume I use channels 2 and 5. What is the usual arrangement to mix the two ailerons as SPOILERONS? I am guessing the AUX 2 Pot but am unsure about how to proceed.

I guess a second question would be why there is no V Tail selection on the ACRO mode as several power planes also have V Tails...

Thanks

Leon

Yes, you would use channels 2 and 5 for your ailerons. How you use them as spoilers depends on how you want them to work. You can mix them to a switch, and many other possibilities. If you would like help programming that, feel free to call one of our techs a call at 877-504-0233 to set it up how you would like. I'm not sure why there is not a V-tail option in the aircraft programming, my guess would be that they ran out of memory to allow having every function, so they eliminated that feature. It can still be set up using programmable mixing though.
