Any JR servos interchange with IC ?
 

Morning ,
I am having a problem here and was wondering if you could answer my question . I have an old COX trans, receiver and servos . The trans and receiver work very good considering its age , but the servos I would like to replace . I asked this question on general post in RADIo section , only to be told that ANY servo would work , just that the wiring would be different . Well , I tried a FUTABA and no... it did not work ...
I was wondering if by chance you might be able to tell me if there are ANY JR ( or other makes ) that would interchange with these ?
Brand name and number on servo's :
COX/SANWA IC # 80411 and # 80412

YOU CAN TRY AIRTONICS WITH THE OLD CONECTOR, AIRTRONICS IS MADE BY SANWA SO THEY SHOULD WORK, IN CASE THAT YOU ALREADY HAVE THE FUTABA SERVOS YOU WILL NEED TO CHANGE THE WIRING I DONT HAVE HERE THE CORRECT WIRING BUT IF YOU ARE INTERESTED I WILL GET THE INFORMATION, I HAVE IT AT HOME AND NOW I AM IN THE OFFICE.

That is correct, any servo should work. The wire polarity does need to change. The positive and negative wires are reversed, or you can purchase an adapter such as AIR99399Z.
